Do you have Gum Disease? Take our quiz to find out!

By Steve / June 22nd, 2016

If you answer ‘YES’ to any of the following questions you could be at risk of Gum Disease:

Do your gums bleed regularly when brushing or flossing?

Have any of your parents lost some or all of their teeth, particularly an early age?

Do you have a bad taste in your mouth or have been told you have bad breath (halitosis)?

Do you have any teeth that have moved or feel slightly loose?

Do you have spaces between your teeth that have appeared recently?

Have you ever been told by a hygienist or dentist that you have ‘pockets’ around your teeth?

Can you feel a build-up of tartar behind your lower front teeth?

Have you ever lost any teeth due to gum problems rather than tooth decay?

Do you have any areas of redness around the edges of your gums. Healthy gums should be pale pink.

If you smoke or have a history of smoking you could be at risk. Smoking hides many of the other factors which would otherwise alert you to a problem.

If you have answered yes to any of these questions – please contact us ASAP and we can provide a full dental health screening appointment for you.
